Our Story
Hi, I’m Ashlee—founder of Branch and Bloom, and a lifelong flower lover inspired by a legacy of creativity, community, and blooms.
The seed for this pop-up flower bar was planted long ago. Back in the 1960s, my grandma began selling flowers from a weekend pop-up in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California. She was a trailblazer—scrappy, joyful, and full of vision. That spark grew into a full flower shop in San Marcos, where she brightened weddings, birthdays, and everyday lives. My mom inherited her passion and kept the petals flowing, designing floral arrangements for countless celebrations.
Now it’s my turn.
After moving to Rio Rancho, New Mexico, I found myself dreaming of a modern twist on our family tradition—a pop-up flower bar where people could build their own bouquets, play with color, and take home something personal and beautiful. There's something magical about flowers that are chosen and arranged by hand—it’s creative, connective, and full of joy.
Branch and Bloom is my way of continuing that legacy while building something fresh and local. I collaborate with small businesses, markets, and events to bring approachable, delightful floral experiences to our community. It’s a blend of tradition and experimentation, all rooted in connection.
